Tammy Bendetti learned to draw from her father, and practiced in all her schoolwork margins, much to the annoyance of her teachers. She now lives in Colorado with her husband and two daughters. Her older daughter, Chloe, who is five, often paints alongside her.
Tammy continually finds inspiration in the rhythms of seasons, in dreams, in the people she meets, and in color itself.
Tammy works mostly in oil, acrylic, pencil, ink and mixed media. The natural world and the human figure appear frequently in her work, though often abstracted or surreal. She is slowly running out of pants that don’t have paint on them.
